Meet Dawn! Dawn has been the owner at Chestnut Ridge since 2015. Worked as employee 9 years prior to owning.

Dawn can be found behind the front register, in classrooms, explaining machines, and a variety of other things each day. “I hope everyone that visits Chestnut Ridge Sewing loves it as much as I do.”

Mike Miller / Manager & Technician
Meet Mike! Mike is the Manager and Service Technician at CRS. He has been an integral part of the CRS team and operation since July 1994.
“I like the challenge of working on sewing machines and ensuring I am giving the customer exactly what they need.”
Mike can be found most days in the service department, but is always happy to see the customers entering the doors at Chestnut Ridge.

Rhoda Beachy / Instructor
Meet Rhoda! Rhoda teaches classes at CRS and also works in Customer Service. She returned to work in 2016 after a several year absence from CRS.
“I enjoy working with sergers and any products related to them. The new air threaders are incredible! I also appreciate the rest of the staff here.”
As a classroom teacher, Rhoda shared, “It's rewarding when customers bring in a project they made with a technique that we taught them.”

Sue McCullagh / Customer Service & Instructor
Since 2008, Sue has worked in Customer Service and has been a steady presence in the classroom as an instructor.
“The customer’s smiles and willingness to share “sew and tell” is always a highlight for me.”, Sue shared.
Sue loves her awesome coworkers and the fantastic customers at the Ridge. Each one is special to her.

Joanne Hubbard / Instructor
Meet Joanne! She has been an Instructor at Chestnut Ridge since 2017.
“I love sharing the joy of sewing with the customers and enjoy their excitement when I can help them find just the right fabric for their projects.”
Joanne enjoys teaching in a state of the art classroom, with awesome co-workers and wonderful customers.

Susan began working at CRS August 2020 as the Office Assistant.

Breanne Miller / Customer Service
Meet Breanne! Breanne can be found working Customer Service and Sales at the shop and has happily been helping customers since July 2016.
“Working here has taught me that you don't put limits and boundaries on what you can learn and practice makes perfect. I want to do my best to help people with what they need and take time for everyone who walks through our doors.”

Ethan Miller / Technician
Meet Ethan! Ethan has worked as a Technician in our Service Department since May 2019.
“I appreciate that the customers bring their machines to us for service & repair.” Ethan is an integral part of the team that ensures your machines are up to par for all your projects!
Ethan enjoys the atmosphere and work he does at CRS, and of course his co-workers are a big part of that.

Elisa Milano / Instructor
Elisa joined the Chestnut Ridge team in 2021 with the position of teacher and serger product specialist.

Meet Carol! Since 2016, she has worked in the classroom as an Instructor helping customers create purses, bags, wallets, Kimberbell events and clubs, and teaching OESD classes with Betty.

Amanda joined our team in August 2021. “Chestnut Ridge is a very friendly workplace and I look forward to coming back each morning.
