Ohio's Amish Country Quilt Festival

2020 Ohio’s Amish Country Quilt Festival Update

The Festival is still "a go", but with some major adjustments. The "new and revised Covid Plan" is to have a combination of in-person and virtual Festival. The in-person events will not be taking place at the original facility, but at the shops of the three sponsors. We will still have some classes, but the number is being pared down.

(If you have previously signed up for a class, you will be receiving an e-mail shortly with the specific class information and how the change relates to you. See below for more information about classes.)

In terms of the vendor portion of the event, the three sponsoring shops, Chestnut Ridge Sewing, Lone Star Quilt Shop, and Miller’s Dry Goods, will be open as usual and be offering demos and specials. Stop in to any of the shops to pick up your passport which will include specials and door prize entry. We will be taking precautions to minimize your risks to Covid-19. Many of the "traveling" vendors who were scheduled to be at the Festival will be offering show specials virtually. Some will be providing links directly to Festival participants, while others will simply be offering a special discount code to customers to use upon check out.

Classes: To accommodate travel concerns of some of the teachers, we have moved their class offerings to the 2021 Quilt Festival. If you have already signed up for one of those classes, please consider transferring that fee to another class. To do that, please contact Chestnut Ridge Sewing (330-893-3359). Your class fee will now include lunch, beverages, snacks, Festival gift bags, and door prize entries. The website will be updated with the class changes soon. Thank you for your patience!

Krista Moser and Tammy Silvers will each be offering their already scheduled classes. All of Krista’s classes and Trunk Show will be held at Chestnut Ridge Sewing. Tammy Silvers' classes will be held at Lone Star Quilt Shop. In place of the quilt show, a variety of quilts will be displayed at Miller’s Dry Goods, Lone Star Quilt Shop, and Chestnut Ridge Sewing. Be sure to check them out! While this is not an ideal situation, we think it is much better than cancelling all together. This is such a trying time for everyone and we are looking forward to getting back to some sort of normalcy.

Take care and be safe!
