This is a perfect beginner embroidery class! You will be making 2 projects.
If You Build It Tool Belt: What handyman (or woman!) wouldn’t love this fun and functional tool belt? All it takes is a dish towel, some belting, and a couple of D rings for this one size fits most, washable utility apron. With three roomy pockets for supplies and tools, it will keep everything you need close at hand to quickly finish your chores. And, the exposed towel hanger is the perfect place to slip in your hammer to keep it handy. With fun embroidery and effortless sewing, these tool belts make great gifts for Father’s Day, house warmings, or for no special occasion at all.
Gnome Garden Marker: Take a standard applique design and transform it into a free-standing plant marker. With this project you learn how to add stability to the design to make it a stand alone design, learn how to insert machine text in just the right spot, and finally, add a stake and make the back look great! It is so much fun to make, you might not stop at one… or two… or even seven!
